AT&T Corporate Business Development

Joe Weinman is responsible for Strategy, Emerging Services, and Business Development for AT&T Corporate Business Development, with a focus on AT&T's Enterprise customers. Mr. Weinman helps assess, create, and integrate strategic emerging technologies and business models, such as high definition immersive video conferencing, utility and grid computing, web services, application services, and advanced optical networking into AT&T's offer portfolio; develop alliances; and evaluate firms for possible M&A or equity investments.

Mr. Weinman has been awarded 9 U.S. Patents and has several dozen more pending.

Previously, he led engineering and operations for AT&T's Business Continuity organization, and led the Quality, Process, and Business Technologies practice of AT&T Bell Laboratories, focusing on business process reengineering, quality, ISO 9000, the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, software quality assurance, and project management.

Mr. Weinman earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Cornell University , his Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and completed Executive Education at the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne , Switzerland .
